A man from Vineland is facing up to nearly a year in jail after being found guilty of driving while intoxicated - again - and operating a vehicle with a suspended license. The Cumberland County Prosecutor s Office says Gabriel Cruz of Vineland was found guilty on Monday during a bench trial. Authorities say on July 21, 2019, Vineland Police Officers arrived at the scene of a single-vehicle crash at South Third Street and West Chestnut Avenue where a vehicle was overturned in a parking lot. Cops say Cruz was the driver and he exhibited signs of intoxication. A field sobriety test was performed which showed he had a .21% BAC. It was later determined that Cruz s license was suspended for a second driving while intoxicated offense.
