York Suburban, which ranks 1,032 nationally with an overall score of 94.22, is ranked No. 34 within Pennsylvania. With a high school enrollment of 942 students, 39 percent took at least one AP test and 35 percent passed at least one AP test.
The total minority enrollment is 27 percent and 28 percent of students are economically disadvantaged.
These numbers are up from 2019, when York Suburban ranked1,283 nationally with an overall score of 92.56. It was No. 44 within Pennsylvania with a high school enrollment of 876 students. At that time, 34 percent took at least one AP test and 27 percent passed at least one AP test.
In the most recent studies, the school has an 87 percent proficiency in math, 91 percent in reading and a graduation rate of 94 percent.

Hershey High School earned the highest spot for central PA schools in the latest rankings from U.S. News and World Report, coming it at No. 22 in the state.
Among the 711 state high schools reviewed in the annual best high schools report, 28 in the Top 200 were from central PA.
The rankings, published April 27, examined nearly 24,000 public high schools. The publication also ranked charter and magnet schools.
U.S. News took the following criteria into consideration:
College readiness and curriculum, based on the number of 12th grade students who took and earned a qualifying score on AP and/or IB exams.

While my father and mother were alive, I told myself there is no need to publicly tell anybody about the abuse I suffered. My father was a friend of my abuser. They both belonged to the same Rotary Club, the Rotary Club of Chambersburg. They both shared an affinity for sailing, especially in the Caribbean. They were both active members of the same church, the Presbyterian Church of the Falling Spring, which was formed by the founder of Chambersburg, Benjamin Chambers. The abuser and my father were both active members of the Chambersburg Chamber of Commerce.

U.S. News & World Report has released its annual rankings of every public high school in the nation.
The rankings rated more than 17,800 public high schools on how well they served students on factors such as college readiness, reading and math performance, graduation rates and assistance for underserved students.
