The Boys & Girls Club is not only a guiding hand, but also serves as a pathway to opportunities.
My family and I moved to the United States when I was going into sixth grade. I was struggling to grasp the new world I landed in. I had to master a foreign language while trying to learn new content and information I had never even heard before in my home country. Most of my grades plunged into C’s from straight A’s in fifth grade.
This is when the Boys & Girls Club of Wooster stepped in, guiding me through this new phase of my life.
