Woolworth s is rebranding its period products to promote inclusivity and destigmatise menstruation.
The supermarket giant will rename its feminine hygiene/feminine care category, which includes pads, tampons and menstrual cups, to period care .
Aiming to remove the shame that lingers around menstruation, the company will call the products by the purpose they serve, rather than a euphemism or nickname .
Woolworths Managing Director Natalie Davis called the move very natural.
