20 Jan –James Bond star Daniel Craig is set to attend the launch of Cambodia s first Safe Ground, an event that will be streamed on the UNDP-Cambodia Facebook page.
The news was announced by the United Nations Development Programme on social media, which read, Daniel Craig is coming to UNDP Cambodia to launch Cambodia s first #SafeGround on January 22.
The actor, who is the UN Global Advocate for the Elimination of Mines and Explosive Hazards, will also be speaking with Cambodian Mine Action Authority (CMAA) first vice president Ly Thuch to share why he cares so deeply about this issue, as well as further efforts that can be made to end the ongoing issue which still claims thousands of civilian lives yearly.
