Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], February 28 (ANI): The Communist Party of India (CPI) National Secretary K Narayana on Sunday said Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will not be able to form its government in all the five states that have upcoming Assembly elections.
K Narayana, CPI Leader, Telangana, speaking to ANI said, After the Election Commission of India (ECI) announced the poll schedule, the Tamil Nadu and Central government made many promises, which they can t keep . They did this knowing that it will be not required of them to keep up with the promises as they will not be in power after elections, he added.
CPI(M) general secretary Sitaram Yechury on Sunday said that the Trinamool Congress has to be defeated first to stop the communal bandwagon of the RSS-BJP, and claimed that the TMC might rejoin the NDA to form the government in West Bengal in case of a hung assembly. Terming the ongoing political tussle between the TMC and the BJP as a mock fight , Yechury alleged that the saffron party is using money from the PM CARES fund, set up to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, to buy leaders during the time of elections. The farmers at the Singhu border in Delhi are fighting against the (Narendra) Modi government s anti-people policies. If farmers who provide us with food can put up such a gallant fight, we too can do it here, he said.

D. Pandian was seriously injured in 1991 bomb blast that killed former Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.
Former Member of Parliament and CPI leader D.Pandian (88) died here on Friday owing to prolonged illness.
Suffering from chronic kidney problems, Pandian was admitted to Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital on Wednesday as his health condition turned worse.
Pandian s condition turned critical on Thursday night and was put on a ventilator but he passed away on Friday morning, a hospital official said.
A trade unionist Pandian headed the party s state unit thrice and was elected to the Lok Sabha in 1989 and 1991 elections.
NIA files chargesheet against 4 Tritiya Prastuti Committee members ANI | Updated: Feb 25, 2021 21:15 IST
Ranchi (Jharkhand) [India], February 25 (ANI): The National Investigative Agency (NIA) filed a second supplementary charge sheet before the special court here on Thursday against four members of Tritiya Prastuti Committee (TPC) including its Zonal Commander, for pertaining to the recovery of cash and arms and ammunitions.
In a statement, the NIA, said that the charge-sheet against the group members of TPC, a Jharkhand-based terrorist group, namely, Vikas Ganjhu, Avinash, Dashrath Ganjhu, Varun Ji, pertaining to the recovery of Rs 5 lakhs cash along with arms and ammunitions from Shyam Bhokta, a TPC operative.
Earlier this month, the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) cleared the privatisation of RINL, popularly known as the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant or the Vizag Steel Plant, triggering an uproar among its employees.
