(KPLC) - Authorities say a 28-year-old Alexandria man accused of having sex with a 13-year-old Acadia Parish girl and encouraging her to have sex with other men for money has been arrested for second-degree kidnapping and human trafficking. Blake K. Jenkins was arrested at L’auberge Casino Resort on Jan. 11, according to the Calcasieu Correctional Center booking report. Detectives with the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office were called that day in reference to a runaway juvenile from Acadia Parish who had been found by the Louisiana State Police Gaming Enforcement Division, Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Kayla Vincent said in a news release.

(KPLC) - At approximately 11 p.m. on Jan. 22, a Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputy was called in reference to a truck in a ditch at the 1200 block of HWY 171 North in Moss Bluff. According to CPSO detective Kayla Vincent, when the deputy arrived, he spoke with the driver James O. McKeehan, Jr., 55, of Lake Charles. He detected an odor of alcohol emitting from his breath, and the deputy also observed McKeehan to have slurred speech and unstable balance.

Several young girls were involved in the incident, which resulted in a fight inside a branch of the popular retail store. The conflict ended with the stabbing of the 15-year-old who later succumbed to her injuries. CPSO spokesperson Kayla Vincent told KLPC TV that the main suspect is a 13-year-old girl named Regan Broussard, who was seen doing the deed and bragging about it on the videos that have now been taken down. Three of her friends were also seen on the video showing no remorse and even bragging about how the victim was leaking. All four girls are reportedly now in custody.
