QUEZON CITY, Feb. 16 The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) is winning some small battles in combatting hunger and poverty, thanks to its revolutionized farming system, which expands the scope of vegetable gardening to as far as it can get – the urban areas.
On Thursday, February 18, 2021, the DAR, in partnership with the Quezon City Government, will prove once again that farming is no longer confined in its traditional turf, the rural areas, as it spearheads the much-awaited harvest festival in Barangay Bagong Silangan, Quezon City to provide food on the table of every household in the city.
