Events to mark Australia Day across Region
Australia Day is fast approaching, and residents looking to mark the day can look forward to a range of events across the Region.
Rockhampton Region Acting Mayor Neil Fisher said these events will provide a great opportunity for people to celebrate and reflect on what it means to be Australian.
“This Australia Day, Council is once again proud to support a number of great celebrations in our community,” said Acting Mayor Fisher.
“On Tuesday 26 January from 10am – 12.30pm the kids can enjoy a free sausage sizzle, ice-cream and amusement rides at Kershaw Gardens.
