Visitors to next year’s Caroline Bay Rock and Hop event will get the opportunity to take their cars for a spin around Levels Raceway for the first time.

Caroline Bay Rock and Hop raises $130,000 for Hospice

Dressed for the Rock and Hop cruise during the 2021 event is Helen Maxwell, of Invercargill. More than $130,000 was raised through the Caroline Bay Rock and Hop event last month. Hospice South Canterbury events and marketing manager Jeanna Munro said the figure was a nice reward for all the hard work that went into the four day event. The event raised $105,000 when it was last held in 2019. Organisers cancelled the event in 2020 due to Covid. “When we live here we can take for granted the area in which we live and in particular the asset we have in Caroline Bay. It was really satisfying hearing the comments from visitors about what a great venue it is and the fantastic outlook.”
