In a day and age when law enforcement actions are scrutinized beyond any other time in history, some go unnoticed.
These are the situations that don’t result in an officer-involved shooting although they could have easily ended with shots being fired.
They are the successful outcomes where law enforcement and those they are called to assist or investigate live to tell their story.
The Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office had a role in two recent armed stand-offs that could have resulted in an officer-related shooting, but instead ended with two men being taken into custody.
