Harding remained incarcerated in the Guernsey County Jail awaiting a felony bond hearing in the Cambridge Municipal Court. Harding was reportedly in possession of a loaded revolver concealed in his pants when he was arrested by city police officers after a foot pursuit on Friday that ended inside his North Fifth Street residence.

The Daily Jeffersonian A Cambridge man released from prison on parole less than four months ago is facing potential new felony drug charges following a traffic stop by Guernsey County sheriff s deputies Monday evening. Justin M. Carnes, 31, was being held Tuesday in the Guernsey County Jail on a felony investigation hold issued by deputies following his arrest on Manila Road in Cambridge. Deputies reportedly seized two containers with a crystal substance that field-tested positive for methamphetamine, suspected marijuana and marijuana wax from a vehicle driven by Carnes. Investigators said Carnes told them he was paid $200 by a male acquaintance to drive the vehicle from Muskingum County to Cambridge.

Ronald Wolters – Photo: GCSO CAMBRIDGE, Ohio A Buffalo man was sentenced on Wednesday for sex crimes involving children in Guernsey County Common Pleas Court. 52-year-old Ronald Wolters was sentenced to three consecutive life terms in prison, without the chance of parole for 75 years, by Judge Daniel G. Padden. Wolters was found guilty two weeks ago by a jury on three counts of rape and eight counts of gross sexual imposition. An investigation into Wolters’ activity was initiated in July of 2019 by Guernsey County Sheriff’s Detectives after a then 5-year-old girl reported that she had been sexually assaulted by Wolters, who is a family member.
