A BJP delegation led by Veerraju visited the Srisailam temple and offered prayers to Lord Mallikarjuna and Goddess Bhramarambika on Monday, the third day of Temple Visit Yatra. After the visit, Somu Veerraju spoke to ANI, In Tripurantakam of Prakasam district, YSRCP volunteers attacked those Scheduled Tribe people who are not going to churches, but the police did not file a case.

In this matter, the police arrested two persons. The police of Panchalingala and Special Enforcement Bureau police held searches at the checkpost. As part of that, the police searched a car. The police found 38 cartons containing 3848 liquor bottles worth Rs 1,40,000 , informed a Karnataka police official. The police found that Boya Pamayya and Boya Ellappa are residents of Bommireddy Palle village, Veldurti Mandal of Kurnool district. They have bought 38 cartons of liquor from the Raichur district of Karnataka.

District Collector G Veerapandian on Saturday visited the hospital with other officials and denied reports that the lack of the life-saving gas caused the fatalities. It is not true that some Covid patients died due to lack of oxygen at KS Care Hospital. The enquiry team investigated the matter and submitted a report. Even then, the patients at that hospital have been shifted to Kurnool GGH as a precautionary measure, read an official statement issued by the district collector and SP Dr K Fakirappa.
