A Boyce man is in jail for the second time in two months after being arrested on sex-related charges by the Alexandria Police Department.
Koby Lex Saucier, 19, first was arrested on March 8 by the Rapides Parish Sheriff s Office on charges of felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile, indecent behavior with juveniles and computer-aided solicitation of a minor.
Bail was set at $450,00, and Saucier bonded out of the Rapides Parish Detention Center on March 24.
His attorney, in that case, George Higgins III, had filed a motion to reduce his bond before he was released. A hearing had been set for May 17, according to online Rapides Parish Clerk of Court records.
Five people have been indicted in the fatal shooting last year of a teen in Pineville.
The indictments on charges of first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder were handed down by a Rapides Parish grand jury on Jan. 26.
All five Terrence Armstrong, 23; Kaitlyn Leeann Carlino, 17; Tyrone Markel Compton, 21; Andrew Chestley Mayo, 18; and Pamela Earlene Smith, 25 have pleaded not guilty.
They are accused in the Oct. 20, 2020, shooting of Edwin Davidson Jr., 17, the attempted murder of another man and knowingly and intentionally conspiring to kill Davidson, according to the indictment.
The other person was not injured.
According to information released by the Pineville Police Department last year, the defendants went to a house in the 300 block of Orchard Loop, which is off Bayou Maria Road, after an earlier drug deal on that day. Shots were fired into the house, and Davidson was hit.
