HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - Two people were sent to the hospital following an apparent string of carjackings and crashes on Hawaii Island on Sunday. One of the victims is now fighting for her life. Hawaii Island police have charged 36-year-old Thomas Ryan Kilborn of Pahoa with attempted murder and 11 other crimes including robbery, theft and driving without a license. Puna Patrol Officers say Kilborn stole a vehicle from a driveway near Kalapana-Kapoho Beach Road and Ole Ole Street.
