At its eastern entrance, COSA is responsible for the coordination of the Block I project and for supporting DEA architectes and Denu & Paradon architecture in the design of the apartment buildings. © Camille Gharbi COSA is also developing a 340-spots overground car park, a mixed-use residential and office building, and the central area of the block.  The mixed-use building consists of a two-storey plinth containing amenities, with housing units above.

Brooks + Scarpa Reveals Proposal for Miami s Aquatic Center and Park

Copy Brooks + Scarpa along with PCL and BEA, design/build team is one of three finalists selected for a new community mixed-use complex. Located in the heart of Miami Beach, just one block west of the beach, the structure that replaces a municipal surface parking lot, will include pools, libraries, retail, a community center, and a 3-acre park. Designed as a resiliency hub, the building can accommodate future residential and office use when less parking is needed. Brooks + Scarpa has imagined Miami’s beach aquatic center and park. Part of international competition, the proposal generates a mixed-use parking structure is in the heart of Miami Beach, including a 50-meter competition pool, a 25-meter multi-purpose pool, a 7500 square feet branch library, 10, 000 square feet of retail, a teen center, fitness center among others. Located in an emerging town center core that is reinvesting in a walkable and livable district, the project puts in place a 3-acre park.

Plans This is a project to rebuild the owner’s office and residence as well as office space for rent on a street corner of Nishi-Shimbashi, Minato-ku, Tokyo’s historic business district. Many of the mid-story rental buildings, which occupy the majority of Tokyo’s commercial and business districts, are now facing rebuilding time. While there are large development projects like Toranomon Hills along the main streets near the site, buildings of similar size can be found along the back streets. ARAKAWA Bldg. has long contributed to its surrounding cityscape, along with the growth of the owner’s business. In its rebuilding, focus was placed on creating a building that would shape an attractive cityscape for the future by revisiting the potential of the building.
