NTA UPCET 2021 exam postponed, application deadline extended

The exam was earlier scheduled to be held on June 15, but it has been deferred amid problems faced by the candidates during the submission of online application forms.  The application process has also been extended till May 31. Candidates can apply at nta.ac.in. “With a view to remove hardship caused to candidates and to ensure larger participation of candidates, it has been decided to postpone the UPCET- 2021 exam scheduled on June 15 and also extend the last date for submission of online application forms for the exam till May 31,” the official notice mentioned.

KTU to aid software development for KIIDC Updated: Updated: Share Article AAA APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU) is set to facilitate the development of a fully automated Community Micro Irrigation system for the Kerala Irrigation Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd (KIIDC). The irrigation system will come up in the command area of Moongilmada Lift Irrigation Scheme (LIS) in Chittur area, Palakkad. The proposed project includes design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of community micro irrigation systems, construction of pumping stations, transmission line and necessary transformers, and control room with automated drip irrigation system including operation and maintenance. The implementation of project is expected to double crop productivity and reduce water scarcity.

KTU to begin even semester classes on April 26 Updated: Updated: Share Article AAA APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University on Friday decided to commence the second and fourth semester classes of undergraduate and postgraduate courses online on April 26. A tentative schedule will be published soon. The ongoing classes of higher semesters will continue as per schedule. The decision has been taken on recommendations of the Syndicate Standing Committee on Academics and Research. A decision on resuming the deferred exams will be taken by May 15 after the panel reviews the COVID-19 situation. While students will be provided information at least 15 days prior to the examinations, a 10-day break has been planned during the ongoing semesters, the university stated in a press note on Friday.

Kerala universities postpone exams amid COVID-19 surge

Among those universities that postponed various exams include APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Kerala University, Calicut University, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kochi, Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), Kerala University of Health Sciences, Malayalam University and Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University. Vice-Chancellors have been requested by the Governor to postpone all offline exams. The Governor has suggested that fresh dates be given based on the prevailing conditions, said the Kerala Governor s office.
