The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department seeks another year of off-highway vehicle grant funding through the State of California’s Department of Parks and Recreation. The Sheriff’s Department has used this grant source since 2006 and seeks an additional one year of funding. BLM to hold public meeting on OHV grant proposals
ARCATA, Calif. – The Bureau of Land Management’s Arcata Field Office will hold a public meeting and is accepting public comments regarding management needs and projects that would benefit off-highway vehicle recreation on public lands on the North Coast.
The meeting will be held Tuesday, Feb. 16, at 4:30 p.m. at the Samoa Dunes Recreation Area, 3800 New Navy Base Road in Samoa. The meeting will take place rain or shine, at the OHV Training Site near the entrance to the recreation area. Facial coverings and distancing will be required in compliance with all state and local health guidelines for COVID-19 prevention.
