Interlochen Arts Academy Having End-Of-Year Festival

It’s an exciting time of the year for students, school is ending and plenty of graduations to celebrate! The Interlochen Arts Academy will be having an End-of Year Festival and commencement ceremony showcasing student performances and presentations from the Interlochen website starting Wednesday, May 26, through Friday, May 28.
The Festival will feature creative writing, dance, film, music, interdisciplinary arts, theatre, and visual arts. The students have really put their all into this even after having a rough year with Covid. Some of the highlights will include a collaborative performance of Jonathan Dove’s “Figures in the Garden” produced and performed by music, dance, and film students; a fully staged production of the classic ballet Swan Lake; original songs performed by singer-songwriting students; performances by the Arts Academy Orchestra, Choir, and jazz ensembles; readings by creative writing stu
