For the first time in its history, the 93rd Academy Awards is being held at Union Station, an area plagued by homelessness. But there are reports the city is forcing the homeless to move out of sight for the event.
LOS ANGELES - An awards season like no other will culminate Sunday night with an Oscars like no other, as the 93rd Academy Awards migrate from Hollywood to Los Angeles Union Station, and a film fittingly titled Nomadland is the movie to beat in the best-picture race.
The pre-show and main ceremony will be broadcast on ABC, as well as available to stream on Hulu Live TV, YouTubeTV, AT&T TV, FuboTV and on ABC.com (with provider authentication).

Academy Museum Celebrates Record Number Of Oscar-Nominated Women – Watch Deadline 2 hrs ago
Some 70 women representing a record total of 76 overall nominations have been nominated for Oscars this year, a very encouraging statistic for the Academy and the industry.
In honor of this, Academy Museum trustee Diane von Furstenberg and the Academy Museum have released a video (click the link above to watch) celebrating the women nominees of the 93rd Oscars. In a year that posed exceptional challenges to filmmaking, it is especially important to uphold the tradition launched seven years ago to honor talented women filmmakers who continue to break glass ceilings in the entertainment industry.
