HYDERABAD: Twenty days after the death of Chandramohan, a resident of Petbasheerabad, allegedly due to harassment by instant loan app representatives, one person from Gurugram and two persons from Karnataka were arrested by Cyberabad police on Friday.
They were involved in operating companies that are into the recovery of loans from people who used instant financing apps.
On January 2, Chandramohan, a employee in a godown, hanged himself. Based on a complaint given by his family members, Cyberabad police, during the investigation, arrested Hemanth Kumar Jha, who is the director of a company located in Gurugram; V Manjunath, an human resources manager in a company located in Koramangala in Bengaluru; and Abdul Lauk a team leader in a private company at JP Nagar also in Bengaluru.
The complaint was filed by one M Santosh Kumar, who alleged that for the past 12 years his brother-in-law Chandra Mohan borrowed money from more than 11 instant loan apps and repaid over Rs 2 lakh.

Three people, including director of an app-based instant loan company, were arrested by Pet-Basheerabad police on Friday in connection with the ‘forced killing’ of a 36-year-old private employee on January 2.
The accused have been identified as 28-year-old Hemanth Kumar Jha, director of Flash Cash Pvt Ltd, Gurugram, 28-year-old V. Manjunath, HR manager at Juss IT Technologies Pvt Ltd., Bengaluru, and 25-year-old Abdul Lauk, manager-cum-team leader of TGHY Trust Rock Pvt. Ltd, Bengaluru.
