College of the North Atlantic - Qatar (CNA-Q) has announced Dr. Salem Al Naemi as the 6th President of the college, effective January 14, 2021.
Dr. Al Naemi joined the college in November 2018 as Vice-President, Finance & Administration, and was appointed Acting President in June 2020.
He has more than 25 years of work experience in both government and private sectors.
He is a successful executive with considerable leadership experience in education, government, and business organizations such as Qatar University, Statistics Department/Planning Council, Supreme Education Council, and Milaha, to name a few.
Dr. Al Naemi holds an MBA and Ph.D. in Computer Science. He began his career as an Assistant Professor and taught at Qatar University. His expertise lies in organisational strategies, managerial leadership, communication, and operational efficiency to accomplish goals and achieve success for an organization.

Doha: The department of Continuing and Professional Education (CPE) College of the North Atlantic – Qatar (CNA-Q), in collaboration with the college’s School of Health Sciences (SHS), has successfully transferred and delivered a series of healthcare training courses online.
The courses – developed to support professionals in Qatar’s healthcare sector – were previously only offered through face-to-face delivery but have since been transitioned and redesigned for optimum online delivery as a direct response to the COVID-19 pandemic and country-wide lockdown measures in Qatar and fully align with Qatar’s Department of Healthcare Professions (DHP) accreditation guidelines.
Over 1085 participants have so far enrolled and completed courses from CNA-Q’s healthcare sector training series on key subjects such as Medical Safety in the Elderly, Healthcare Information Management, Communications in Healthcare, Basics of Healthcare Research,
