MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) - For the first time ever, the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers are going bowling.
The 11-0 Chanticleers will play in the FBC Mortgage Cure Bowl in Orlando, Florida, against the Liberty Flames, who finished the season 9-1.

The Louisiana Ragin Cajuns are coming off one of their most important regular-season victories in program history after they finally beat Appalachian State, a team they had never defeated before.
This past weekend Louisiana was off on a bye-week and the Cajuns stood pat at the 19th spot in the College Football Playoff Rankings and set up an epic showdown between them and the 12th ranked Coastal Carolina Chanticleers in the Sun Belt title game in Conway, SC this Saturday, December 19th.

College Football Playoff Rankings: Top five unchanged as Iowa State jumps Florida for No. 6 spot
The top five teams held firm in the CFP Rankings with just one Saturday left in the 2020 season

The penultimate edition of the 2020 College Football Playoff Rankings was released Tuesday night, and the first five teams in the top 25 were unchanged as they have been for multiple weeks. Alabama remains the top-ranked team in the nation with Notre Dame, Clemson and Ohio State filling out the top four.
With the Buckeyes set to play in the BIg Ten Championship Game against Northwestern on Saturday, questions about their candidacy from the CFP seem to have dissipated, especially as the list of contenders seemingly shrunk after Florida was upset by LSU last week.

After the UCF Knights accepted the bid to play at the Boca Raton Bowl on Dec. 7, their opponent was officially announced on Monday.
UCF will face No. 17 BYU in the Boca Raton Bowl at FAU Stadium on Dec. 22 at 7 p.m. and the game will broadcast on ESPN.

The game has been approved for 20% stadium capacity, or 6,000 individuals. FAU Stadium’s full capacity is 30,000, according to FAU’s website.
After UCF Athletics said the Knights may face an Atlantic Coast Conference opponent, the options dwindled after a few ACC schools opted out of of playing in postseason bowls.
