Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology announced this week that it will freeze tuition for the 2021-22 academic year, which starts this fall.
The freeze was approved by the College Board of Trustees at the March 2, 2021 meeting, the school said in a press release.

WORCESTER The future of Becker College is shadowed by uncertainty, with state education boards determining that the school s struggling financial standing makes it unlikely to survive another academic year.
The school had been hoping to partner with another college in an attempt to stay afloat. That effort failed, according to Becker President Nancy P. Crimmin. The deadline to submit public comments is March 29.
The project proponent and grazing permittee, Deep Springs College (Board of Trustees), has proposed the construction, use, and maintenance of eleven range improvements in the Deep Springs Valley and South Oasis grazing allotments, including seven water trough sites, two water pipelines, one permanent corral, and one water tank.
