The steam line replacement project on College Hill at East Carolina University continues to move forward as workers and staff work to complete this project by early August 2021 before students make their return to campus.
Associate Vice Chancellor of Campus Operations William Bagnell said the project on College Hill is focused on the replacement of steam and condensate lines in that specific area of the university. He said these replacements will provide humidity and heat control to the residence halls on College Hill, as well as Todd Dining Hall.
âThis (the steam line replacement project) is required to ensure temperature and humidity controls are maintained in our building, in addition to assuring the reliability and safety of our infrastructure on campus,â Bagnell said.
