Date Time College of Education faculty offer tips on returning to K-12 classes Returning to the classroom after a year’s worth of pandemic-induced absence is sure to spark a range of challenges and stresses for students, teachers and parents alike. Leaving the safety of Zoom and being among masked-up peers and others, along with the stimuli that accompanies being in public for the first time in a year in a classroom setting, will affect everyone differently. However, College of Education faculty members Jennifer Ruef and Sarah Stapleton have advice for parents and teachers to help address some of those concerns, how to approach the coming summer and what opportunities to do things better may have emerged over the past year.

Princeton Offers Empowerment Program For Girls

Reply The program begins July 8 through August 5 (Shutterstock) PRINCETON, NJ – This summer, the Princeton Recreation Department will be offering an empowerment program for girls. The Princeton Empowerment Program aims to encourage girls from various backgrounds to come together in a safe space, talk about important topics, and break down social barriers. The program is aimed at girls in grades 3-6. The program begins July 8 through August 5 and will take place at Grover Park located behind Princeton Shopping Center. Subscribe Girls will learn how to embrace who they are and find their inner strength to spread kindness and empower themselves in a supportive environment among friends and peers.
