Clay County COVID Update: New CDC Guidance For Fully Vaccinated Individuals By charguth May 15, 2021 8:23 am clipart.com Spencer, IA (KICD)– The recommendations for mask wearing were updated this past week by the Centers for Disease Control as more people continue to get vaccinated against COVID-19. Colette Rossiter joined us for our Clay County COVID Update on Saturday saying the new guidance applies only to those who are “fully” vaccinated meaning it has been at least two weeks since they received their final dose. Some of the rules for masking while traveling are staying place for right now, however. Clay County Public Health and Spencer Hospital continue to offer weekly vaccination clinics for those who have not yet received a shot and will have all three of the vaccines available that have been given emergency authorization.
