Am I missing something here? Starting over a year ago, once Covid-19 hit, we were told to shut down businesses, shelter in place, work remotely, wear masks, social distance, sanitize surfaces, cancel meetings and events, “air” hand shake, eliminate visits to hospitals and nursing homes, etc. Wise or not, New Yorkers followed these state regulations, because we were consistently told it was all
temporary; that
once the vaccine arrived we could transition back to normal life.
Well, that time has thankfully arrived in New York state. It’s worth noting that Onondaga County already has almost 50% of adults with at least one vaccine shot a tribute to the excellent leadership of County Executive Ryan McMahon and his staff and countless others.
Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon providing more good news overall today regarding COVID 19 and vaccines No new deaths to report from COVID-19. He also said the positivity rate stands at 1.5%, just 55 new cases.
