Brooks County issues curfew as COVID-19 cases rise

FALFURRIAS, Texas â Commissioners in Brooks County issued a curfew as COVID-19 cases rise in the county.
The curfew, which goes into effect Wednesday night, is from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sundays to Thursdays and Midnight to 5 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays. It is in effect until rescinded, said County Judge Eric Ramos.
Individuals should remain in or around their personal homes or property during the time of the curfew and avoid traveling on the roadways, according to the order.
