Reckless COVID comment from weatherman
I audibly gasped in horror when I heard Bill Logan’s off-the-cuff, irresponsible and reckless comment on the likely Pfizer booster vaccine as he was anchoring ABC7 News on April 15.
He remarked “sounds like marketing to me” when “reporting” on the CEO of Pfizer predicting that a booster shot may be needed for COVID-19 next year.
Logan may have a certificate in meteorology (which I have taught at the college level), but that doesn’t provide him with any biological training or confer any expertise in virology or microbiology, let alone public health medicine.
