Santa Barbara County holds town hall to discuss COVID-19 vaccine distribution
SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. - Santa Barbara County held a town hall meeting Thursday evening to discuss local COVID-19 vaccine distribution plans.
The meeting started around 6 p.m.

Leaders with the County Public Health Department were in attendance to share updates on the vaccine and answer questions from the audience.

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS After weeks of just a few hundred doses of coveted COVID-19 vaccine trickling in to a handful of Routt County entities, the allocation skyrocketed this week.
“We received a large supply of vaccines this week,” Routt County Chief Medical Officer Dr. Brian Harrington said during Wednesday’s Board of Health meeting.
UCHealth Yampa Valley Medical Center alone received 1,075 doses, 600 of which were made available to people 70 and older during clinics held Wednesday and Thursday. The local hospital is holding vaccine clinics every day this week with each day separated as either a first-dose or second-dose clinic.

MADISON COUNTY, Mont.- The Madison County Public Health Department said they are working with both the Ruby Valley Medical Center and the Madison Valley Medical Center for the distribution and administration of COVID-19 vaccines.
Madison County Public Information Officer Bonnie OâNeil said the county health department is asking residents to directly contact the Ruby Valley Medical Center and the Madison Valley Medical Center to be placed on their waiting list.
Once the vaccine is received by the facility, the facility will contact patients by using the information on the waitlist to schedule an appointment.
Approximately, 100 vaccines are being received per week within Madison County.
