The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office and the Egg Harbor Township Police Department are investigating a suspicious death in Egg Harbor Township from over the weekend.
An investigation continues into the fatal shooting of a 28 year-old Atlantic City man and the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office is asking for your help identifying a vehicle that may be connected to the crime.
Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner says at around 8AM, the Major Crimes Unit with the prosecutor s office responded to the area of the 300 block of North Tennessee Avenue in Atlantic City after officers had located 28-year-old Jahmil Greenidge with a gunshot wound.
According to authorities, Greenidge was dead at the scene when officers arrived.
Tyner s office says this is an active and ongoing investigation between the his office and the Atlantic City Police Department. Anyone with information regarding this fatal shooting is asked to contact the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office at (609) 909-7800.

Tyner say Gregory failed to properly feed the girl and beat the child repeatedly with a metal spatula leading to open wounds and welts on the child’s body. Gregory is the girl s legal guardian.
Tyner says she s been charged with 2 counts of second degree Aggravated Assault and 6 counts of second degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child whom she was the legal guardian of, as well as the child’s 2 siblings. She also faces a third degree charge of possession of heroin.
The young girl has been removed from the home by the DCP&P. Tyner says she was extremely emaciated and could barely walk. She was taken to the hospital and was admitted for one week.
