Missoula County Attorney Pabst Issues 2020 Crime Report

Missoula County Attorney Pabst Issues 2020 Crime Report 2020 was a tumultuous year for the Missoula County Attorney’s office with multiple high-profile trials that dominated the headlines, along with the complications that the COVID 19 pandemic brought to bear. Missoula County Attorney Kirsten Pabst has released the official 2020 Missoula County Crime Report, and outlined many of the high-profile cases that her office prosecuted. “Angela and Malcolm Cobbler were sentenced to 10 years each in the Montana State Prison for abusing their two adopted children,” began Pabst. “It s a pretty horrific set of facts. They allegedly locked them up and failed to provide them with food and a toilet. Our prosecutor Lacey Lincoln did a great job work working with social workers and Detective Crocker at the police department to bring those two to justice.”

Missoula Crime Report: Least Amount of Cases Since COVID-19 Began

The Missoula County Attorney’s Office filed eight new criminal complaints this week, which is significantly less than normal. According to County Attorney Kirsten Pabst, two of those cases were felony DUI offenses. “In one of them, a 911 caller called in an erratic driver who was allegedly going 100 miles per hour, had almost hit other cars, and crashed his own vehicle around six times,” Pabst said. “The defendant allegedly drove through a crash scene where there was a highway patrol trooper conducting a different investigation.” Pabst said that trooper caught up to the defendant and observed him driving across the lane of traffic.
