Ride a bike on the water
Take to the Swan River that snakes its way through the WA capital on your own water bike. On one of Perth Waterbike Co.’s adventure experiences riding Chiliboat waterbikes you can pedal past the city skyline and into Elizabeth Quay, or venture to the photogenic Blue Boat House and onto Optus Stadium. A cross between a bike and a boat, the waterbikes are super safe, super stable and super fun.
Adventure World posted to its Facebook page advising it had reopened later in the afternoon and would be opening as normal today after the Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) managed to get the fire under control.
“Just confirming that Adventure World continues to be open until 6pm today and will open again tomorrow from 10am as scheduled,” the post read.
Cockburn Ice Arena also posted to its Facebook page confirming it had to close due to the bushfire, but that it would be open today.

“Hi all. We had a close call today, and want to thank everybody for evacuating the building and car park so quickly and calmly!” the company said yesterday.

A second bushfire emergency warning issued in Perth s south in the space of an hour has been downgraded after a blaze forced residents to evacuate.

There was a second bushfire emergency near Adventure World
The fire broke out in Aubin Grove in the City of Cockburn yesterday afternoon.
The fire has been contained and brought under control and the Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) said there was no threat to lives or homes.
