A roundtable discussion involving politicians from both sides takes place at the Backus Community Center.
Thunder Bay-Rainy River MP Marcus Powlowski will take part remotely.
He will be joined by Minnesota Congressman Pete Stauber, Congresswoman Michelle Fischbach and Manitoba MP Dan Mazier.
Politicians on the Minnesota side are looking for a lifting of travel restrictions that have been in place for over a year.
The meeting begins at 10:30 a.m.

Lyon County Commissioners shared some of their legislative concerns and questions with Rep. Michelle Fischbach during a special meeting Friday. Over the past couple of days, Fischbach made several stops around Lyon and Lincoln County to meet with area leaders and residents.
MARSHALL Â They may have been discussing some big issues – everything from the federal budget to environmental protections and green energy. But the message that Lyon County commissioners had for Congresswoman Michelle Fischbach on Friday was to remember how local governments and businesses are affected by national decisions.
Fischbach was in agreement with a lot of the points commissioners brought up, and said she wanted to help make sure rural Minnesotans had “a seat at the table” when lawmakers planned for the future.

Alzheimer’s is the most expensive disease in America costing $305 billion in 2020.
As someone who is caring for a parent living with Alzheimer’s, I understand the enormous burden dementia has on Minnesota families and the economy. My mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2015 at the age of 57. This disease has stripped many opportunities from my mother, from her 27-year career at 3M to sleepovers with her five grandchildren. Our outlook on making and preserving memories has drasti
