In the latest piece of news, Kannada model-turned-actress Shanaya Katwe, known for the recent adult comedy entertainer film Ondu Ghanteya Kathe , has been arrested for the murder of her 32-year-old brother, Rakesh Katwe, as per reports.
Shanaya was arrested by Hubballi Rural police on Thursday and went to judicial custody.
As per a New Indian Express report, the Dharwad district police have arrested 4 other suspects who have been identified as Niyazahemed Katigar (21), Tousif Channapur (21), Altaf Mulla (24), and Aman Giraniwale (19).

According to a report in The New Indian Express, the police found Rakesh s murder linked to his own sister - Shanaya Katwe. The cops arrested the actress on April 22 after the links were established. According to the report, Shanaya was having an affair with the accused Katigar. Rakesh didn t approve of Shanaya s affair so Katigar allegedly plotted to kill him.

According to recent reports Kannada actress Shanaya Katwe, known for the recent comedy Ondu Ghanteya Kathe , has been arrested by the Hubbali rural police for the murder of her 32-year-old brother. The victim has been identified as Rakesh Katwe in the reports which reveal that his decapitated head was found in the forest area of Devaragudihal with his other severed body parts disposed and found across Gadag Road and other areas of Hubballi.
The reports also suggest that the gruesome incident took place at Shanaya and victim Rakesh s house in Hubballi when the former had visited the city to promote her film. Shanaya has been rumored to have had a love affair with Niyazahmed Katigar and with Rakesh opposing to the relationship, he was strangled to death by Niyaz and his three other friends at the house; the body was later chopped up and disposed of in several areas of the city. HUBBALLI: Hubballi Rural police have arrested actor Shanaya Katwe in connection with the murder of a 32-year-old man here. Rakesh Katwe was murdered, and his decapitated head was found in the Devaragudihal forest area, while his remaining body parts were disposed of across Gadag Road and other areas in Hubballi recently.
Acting on the case, Dharwad district police formed some teams, which arrested four suspects - Niyazahemed Katigar (21), Tousif Channapur (21), Altaf Mulla (24), and Aman Giraniwale (19) - from the city. Later, the police nabbed three other suspects.
