Predator, Terminator the Next Movie Villains to Invade Fortnite

Avengers: Infinity War still thinks it holds the crown for the biggest media crossover ever, it might want to think again because something else is eating its lunch. Fortnite is continuing to truck along with a frankly ludicrous amount of events that bring the stars of the big-screen to the Battle Royale title Predator and the Terminator being the latest of the lot. The Predator is available as an outfit as part of the Chapter 2 Season 5 Battle Pass while the famous T-800 machine and Sarah Connor can be purchased through the in-game store. You ll want to look out for the Future War Set to gain access.
A message from Epic Games adds: “Something’s lurking in the jungle.
“Hunt or be hunted in the v15.21 update, scheduled for release on January 20. Downtime will begin at approx. 4 AM ET (09:00 UTC).
“We re aware that searching for specific players through your friend s list may not function correctly. Please refrain from mass accepting friend request while we get this resolved.”
As you may have guessed from the tweet, update 15.21 adds Predator to the game.
According to the patch notes, Predator will join the game as a new boss character, where he ll be available with a brand new Mythic weapon.

The latest Fortnite update is ready to roll, including a new boss character, a new mythic item, new Jungle Hunter Quests, and IO Guards removed from the Arena. Overnight an issue appeared with searching for specific players through friends lists – if you’re still experiencing that, make sure you’re not “mass accepting” any friend requests in the interim. UPDATE: Fornite’s creators suggest they’ve fixed the error this morning.
Downtime for Fortnite update version 15.21 started at 3AM Central Time on January 20, 2021. It was scheduled to last a couple of hours, and should be done by the time you read this update to this article. A list of Known Issues can be found on the Trello board for this update now.
