Over the long weekend, the Regina Catholic School Division reported cases of COVID-19 had been detected at four elementary schools in the city.
The division said one case had been diagnosed at each of St. Bernadette School, St. Kateri Tekakwitha School, St. Jerome School and St. Timothy School.
All of the schools remained open.
Cases have been identified at 22 Regina schools since students returned to class May 3 after more than a month of remote instruction.

COVID-19 cases found at St. Kateri Tekakwitha By Josh Sigurdson
Two cases of COVID-19 have been found at St. Kateri Tekakwitha School.
The school says the cases are not linked to transmission within the school.
Close contacts have been notified, and the affected classroom and bus route has been closed out of an abundance of caution.
All other classrooms remain open.

Two separate cases of COVID-19 have been diagnosed in individuals at St. Kateri Tekakwitha School.
Regina Catholic says it’s important to note that this was not the result of transmission inside the school, and that both cases are separate and from the community.
Close contacts have been identified and all parents/students of the impacted classrooms have been notified and provided information on self-isolation.
The impacted classroom is closed, with all other classes still open.
