A Shreveport teen was sentenced to juvenile life in prison after pleading guilty to an armed robbery earlier this year on Thursday.
Traylon Johnson, 17, received the sentence for incarceration until the age of 21 from Juvenile Judge Ree Casey-Jones in connection with the shooting that occurred in early March at the intersection of Hearne Avenue and Murphy Street.
Johnson’s 13-year-old co-defendant shot at another when the victim refused to give them his cell phone.
The incident all started when the victim picked up Johnson and the three other juveniles in his mother’s car at 4 a.m. to “look for girls.” By 5:50 a.m., the juvenile passengers all pulled guns on the driver and stole the vehicle.
