Caddo Parish Public Schools announced the selection of Robert Middleton as the next principal of Caddo Parish Magnet High School on Monday. Robert Middleton is a leader who understands the key role supporting teachers plays in the climate and culture of a campus and in overall student achievement,” Caddo Schools Superintendent T. Lamar Goree said. “With an unwavering faith and commitment to excellence, I have no doubt he is the right person to lead Magnet High in its next chapter.”
Seeing his role as one built on servant leadership and addressing the needs of stakeholders, Middleton said he was honored to be selected for the position.
Louisiana Tech University, recently announced the recipients of the Education during COVID-19 Scholarship for the 2021-22 academic year. The Education during COVID-19 Scholarship was designed to give any first-time undergraduate student interested in Louisiana Tech the opportunity to detail their experience with learning during the pandemic.
Students could submit an entry in any form of art. The scholarship remained open for six weeks and received over 130 submissions. Winners are:
Adeline Moss, of Lake Charles, Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts, winning submission with an essay
Kathryn Anderson, of Shreveport, Caddo Parish Magnet High School, submission of a painting
