The Kandiyohi Sheriff’s Office found 32-year-old Martin Gonzalez Jr of Danube on Wednesday morning.
Gonzalez was swimming from a boat with friends on Sunday when he went missing in the water. He wasn’t wearing a life vest.
Big Kandiyohi Lake is about seven miles south of Willmar.

The body of a swimmer missing since Sunday in a western Minnesota lake was recovered from the water Wednesday, authorities said.
Martin Gonzalez Jr., 32, was out Sunday swimming from a boat with friends on Big Kandiyohi Lake when he could not be located, according to the Kandiyohi Sheriff s Office.
Search efforts were started that day for Gonzalez, of Danube, Minn. Personnel from the Sheriff s Office and a citizen search group located the body at about 6:45 a.m. Wednesday.
