Buc-ee s opened its second location in Alabama on Jan. 25. The store in Leeds, Ala., measures 53,250 square feet and features 120 fueling spots on the forecourt. Buc-ee s first Alabama store is in Loxley, and a third is planned for Athens. Enmarket opened its latest new store Jan. 7 in Pooler, Ga.

Love s opens 5 Travel Stops in 5 states

OKLAHOMA CITY Love s Travel Stops & Country Stores opened five travel stops in five states recently, including four with Speedco truck maintenance and tire services on site.
The openings push the size of Love s network of Travel Stops to nearly 550 locations in 41 states, including over 400 with Speedco or Love s Truck Care services on site through over 1,500 service bays.
The new travel stops with Speedco services on site are in:
Hamilton, Ala., along I-78 at the State Route 35 exit between Birmingham, Ala., and Tupelo, Miss.;
Papillion, Neb., along I-80 at the State Route 50 exit just southwest of Omaha;
The city is reviewing permit applications for the proposed Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores location and Speedco Tire Shop on 16.65 acres at 12921 Duval Road at a combined cost of almost $4.56 million.
Bojangles Inc. will operate a restaurant in the travel stop. Harrison French & Associates Ltd. of Bentonville, Arkansas, is the architect and engineer.
Oklahoma City-based Love’s Travel Stops plans a convenience store, restaurants and fuel services for cars and tractor-trailers at Duval Road and Interstate 295, near the Amazon fulfillment center.
RaceTrac at Pritchard
RaceTrac Petroleum Inc. is moving ahead on plans to build an 8,100-square-foot gas station and convenience store with 20 fueling positions on 4.39 acres at Perimeter Industrial Parkway West at northeast I-295 and Pritchard Road.
Love s Details 2021 Growth Plans
OKLAHOMA CITY Love s Travel Stops & Country Stores has an ambitious growth plan for 2021 that includes the opening of up to 50 travel stops and the addition of more than 3,000 truck parking spots and 3,000 jobs.
The plan expands on the travel stop operator s 2020 growth, which included 38 new locations and more than 3,000 truck parking spaces. 2020 was difficult, but our teams worked together to open new locations, add parking spaces and serve customers despite the pandemic, said Love s President Shane Wharton. In 2021, we ll grow our travel stop network where our customers have asked us to, add new products and services and open new truck care centers to get professional truck drivers back on the road quickly and safely.
