Bruce County Paramedics received their COVID-19 vaccine.
Around 100 got the first dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, 70 of them were administered at the new COVID-19 Vaccination Hockey Hub in Hanover Wednesday and Thursday.
The vaccinations were a part of Phase Two of the Province’s plan to vaccinate all essential frontline workers and first responders.
The Health Unit is reminding the public that vaccinations are not yet available for the general public.
They say they will provide updates when more information is available.
A media launch of the new hockey hub in Hanover is taking place on Friday.
In a news release, the hubs can be readied upon notice of available vaccines, and, once operational, these hubs can administer 4500 doses of vaccine per day.

It was no walk in the park for two hikers near Tobermory.
Grey Bruce OPP say the pair were walking on some ice along the shores of Bruce Peninsula National Park Sunday afternoon when a large chunk broke off sending the two hikers floating out towards Georgian Bay.
Officers along with Bruce County Paramedics, Northern Bruce Peninsula Fire, and Parks Canada arrived at the scene near Cypress Lake Road around 2:30.
A Hercules aircraft from the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre in Trenton was brought in as well as an OPP Aviation Services Helicopter from Orillia.
The aircraft located the hikers who were three kilometres from shore while the helicopter rescued the hikers and brought them to shore safely.
