Subscriber only Shocking photos have revealed the extent a vehicle was damaged in a rollover south of Mackay that left a woman fighting for life in hospital. A 28-year-old woman remains in a serious but stable condition in Townsville Hospital after her Toyota LandCruiser rolled off the Bruce Highway 1km south of Calen about 2am Sunday. The RACQ CQ Rescue service released photos of the mangled wreckage which show the front-end of the 4WD severely damaged and the roof over the passenger side crumpled. Emergency services are responding to a truck rollover on the Bruce Highway.
Reports indicated the refrigerated truck crashed about 8.30am and was blocking the road in the St Lawrence area.
A police spokeswoman said there was significant traffic congestion about 80km south of Sarina.
The driver believed to be in his 50s was taken to Rockhampton Hospital with facial injuries and back pain.
A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said he was in a stable condition.

Motorists headed to the Sunshine Coast this afternoon are in for a wait following a multi-vehicle crash on the Bruce Highway at Morayfield.
Queensland Traffic reported the crash happened about 3.20pm near the Buchanan Road overpass with delays expected for northbound motorists.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said crews attended but did not treat anyone.

UPDATE 3.15PM: A truck driver has been taken to hospital following a truck rollover south of Mackay.

The spokeswoman said a man in his 60s was taken to Mackay Base Hospital with minor seat belt related injuries.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said officers also attended and work was under way to retrieve mail spilled in the incident.
