A 36-YEAR-OLD man is to serve an 18 month prison sentence after he pleaded guilty to a trespassing incident which involved him walking in through an unlocked door and speaking a five-year-old girl who was alone in the kitchen of her family home.
Graham O’Mahony, of no fixed abode, was arraigned on the single count at Cork Circuit Criminal Court.

Leon Frahill pleaded guilty to assault causing harm to his son Gino Frahill who is in his late twenties at a bus stop at Glasslyn Road in Bandon on the 31st of March 2020.
He also pleaded guilty to two charges of producing a knife on the same occasion.
The court that Leon Frahill, having stabbed his son eight times then flagged down passing traffic to raise the alarm.

Cork Circuit Criminal Court had previously heard that the complainant was awoken by McKenzie, who was alleged to have tapped a ceramic knife against her leg, and demanded to know where an individual was in the house.
McKenzie rejected the woman s version of events and said that he had gone to the house to tell the woman that she should not be seeing one man when she was also going out with a friend of his.

McKenzie from Dun Eoin, Carrigaline, Co Cork had earlier pleaded guilty to a fourth charge of obstructing Garda Tony Devane at Kingswood, Carrigaline on March 28th, 2020 and was given a three month suspended sentence.
