The Douglas County Community Services Foundation (DCCSF) has created a fun and humorous fundraising program over the past three years to help provide funding for the Douglas County Senior Center. A naming rights sponsorship for the two family restrooms in the Senior Center has been initiated with signage prominently displaying a lucky recipient’s name over the bathroom doors. What better way to honor someone or some organization, than to have their name showcased for a year above these much-used doors.
DCCSF Chairman Bob Cook is the 2021 naming rights sponsor for the two-restroom signs. With his donation of $1000 he has chosen Brian Fitzgerald, representing the Carson Valley Arts Council and Dave Brady, owner of Brady & Associates and Treasurer of the DCCSF as the two 2021 recipients of this prestigious award.

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Nev. - A new In God We Trust display has been added to the wall of the Douglas County Board Chamber. In 2019, the County Commissioners passed a resolution supporting the display of the national motto in the chambers and after fundraising efforts the sign was created by the winning bidder, YESCO, LLC.
The new In God We Trust was installed during the commissioner s December 10, 2020 meeting.
