A Wales rugby international has been given a community order after punching her ex-fiancée in the face.
Hannah Bluck, 24, who plays for Worcester Warriors, was convicted of assault after attacking Toni Lloyd in their home in Bridgend in August.
The winger, with five rugby caps for Wales, was given an 18-month community order, alongside community service.
Cardiff Magistrates Court heard Bluck had carried out a sustained and repeated assault .
The sportswoman, who has also represented her country in football and basketball, was also handed a 12-month restraining order.

A fourth man has appeared in court charged with murdering a man who was found dead on a Cardiff street.
Ardit Mehalla, 24, from Enfield, London, appeared at Cardiff Magistrates Court on Monday charged with murdering Tomasz Waga in January.
Mr Waga, 23, who was from Poland but lived in Essex, was found dead by a dog walker on Westville Road, Penylan.

Police investigating the alleged murder of a young dad have charged a man.
Detectives probing the death of 23-year-old Tomasz Waga in the Penylan area of Cardiff
in January have charged Ardit Mehalla with murder and the 24-year-old, from Enfield in London, will appear at Cardiff Magistrates Court on Monday.
A 41-year-old man from Fairwater in Cardiff who was also arrested on Saturday on suspicion of murdering Mr Waga has been released on police bail pending further investigation.
