The Alida Rec. Board members are planning another fundraiser – of course with COVID restrictions keeping everyone apart. They are going to try an online auction. The funds will go to support the expenses of the facilities in the community. Donated items are being collected, photographed and posted on Facebook in the online event. Bidding will start April 9 at 9 a.m. and end April 11 at 9 p.m. and the board will award the item to the highest bidder at that point. One can make payment by e-transfers or cash. Pickup can be arranged during specified times (1-4 p.m. or 7-9 p.m.) on April 13 or 14 at the community rink.
