A new €10m fund aims to help businesses across Ireland reduce their carbon emissions and adopt more sustainable practices. This Climate Enterprise Action Fund will be administered by Enterprise Ireland and will serve companies at various stages of climate preparedness. Announcing a five-year national initiative – Climate Ready – designed to equip businesses with the skills and practical tools needed, which will initially benefit 1,100 companies, Mr Harris acknowledged companies had already experienced “massive” upheaval caused by Brexit and Covid-19.
