FARGO (KFGO) – A man is hospitalized with serious injuries and facing charges following a car theft and crash in Fargo.
Police say a vehicle, left running and unlocked, was stolen in the 1100 block of 2nd Street North early Thursday morning. The vehicle was spotted traveling through Moorhead on Highway 75 by Moorhead police who attempted a traffic stop but the driver fled and the vehicle was pursued.
The officer terminated the chase before the vehicle continued at a high rate of speed across the Center Avenue Bridge into Fargo. There it crashed into the former Mid-America Steel Building on NP Avenue. A gun recovered from the vehicle was a pellet gun. It’s not certain if it belongs to the driver.

FARGO (KVRR/KFGO) – A judge has refused to reduce the prison sentence for a West Fargo man who pleaded guilty to the traffic death of a friend.
Cass County District Judge Wade Webb turned down a sentence reduction for Daniel Dal Pozzo. Dal Pozzo, in a written request from the state penitentiary in Bismarck, said that in the interest of justice and for the well-being of his family, his sentence should be reduced.
Dal Pozzo was given 12 years in prison for the June 2019 death of Johnny Grey of West Fargo. Grey was a passenger in a car driven by Dal Pozzo that slammed into parked vehicles in West Fargo. Grey was a well-known hair stylist in Fargo

Stolen car crash 1/28/21
FARGO (KVRR/KFGO) – Several people were injured Thursday morning when a stolen vehicle crashed in the vicinity of 12th Avenue and 2nd Street North in Fargo.
Fargo police say the fast-moving vehicle crossed into Moorhead where it was spotted by police before the driver headed back to Fargo on the Center Ave. Bridge.
The vehicle hit a wall and went through a building at the former Mid-Amerca Steel property on NP Avenue.
At least one person fled. Several people were taken by ambulance to the hospital. A gun may have also been found on the front seat floor of the vehicle.
Driver hospitalized after early morning police chase ends in crash
The crash happened just before 6 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, with the driver brought to a hospital with serious injuries. Authorities say charges for DUI and theft of motor vehicle will be filed with the state s attorney s office.

FARGO One man is hospitalized with serious injuries after an early morning chase involving a stolen vehicle took him across state lines from Moorhead and into downtown Fargo and ended with a crash.
Around 5:45 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, local law enforcement received a report of a stolen vehicle from the 1100 block of Second Street North, including information about the vehicle and the last known direction it was traveling. It was running and unlocked at the time of the theft, according to a news release from Fargo Police.
